Annual Meeting

The 2012 Annual Monticello Association Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 9th and Sunday, June 10th in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The weekend will include the popular open house and reception at Monticello on Saturday afternoon and evening with the post-reception dinner held at the Thomas Jefferson Visitor Center.  Sunday morning activities will begin with the service at the Monticello Graveyard, followed by the luncheon and business meeting.

Small blocks of rooms at a selection of local hotels are being held for this weekend but will be released 30 days prior to the event. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible to receive a better selection of room types. Contact hotels no later than May 9th and say you are with the Monticello Association in order to receive the discounted rates.

Detailed agenda and onlilne regsitration for the weekend will be available soon.    Be sure to book you hotel now as rooms tend to fill up in Charlottesville during the summer tourist season.

Guest Policy

Guests at Association events, other than the business meeting, are limited to three guests per Regular or widowed Associate member. The Vice President is authorized to allow additional guests in special instances.  Sponsoring members must attend events with their guests. Attendance at the business meeting is limited to members (Regular, Associate and Junior) and their immediate family. The Vice President may invite guest speakers when their commentary may be of benefit to the Association.
